Juggling Octopus Puzzle

Each octopus is holding a different arrangement of juggling balls.  In the center of the puzzle, each ball is between two octopi, but only actually held by one or the other.  This puzzle can be deduced with a good bit of logic and a minimum of trial and error.  One solution is engraved on the back.
