There have been thousands of checkerboard dissection puzzles designed in the last 150 years. This one is just above medium difficulty, for ages 8 to adult, and uses a mixture of tetromino and pentomino pieces. The “black” squares have some very special intricate engraving. Also, one solution is engraved on the back so that you can put it away if you get stuck.
