The pieces of this puzzle are each based on a trapezoid with circular cuts either in or out along the edges in different ways, and the 12 pieces are a complete selection within these parameters. There are 359 different solutions to fit the pieces into the tray, but they are so tough to find you will probably need to resort to looking at the solution on the back. Also engraved on the back are 5 extra shapes that the pieces can make outside of the tray and the number of solutions for each of those shapes, ranging from the most difficult (only 56 solutions) to the easiest (3739 solutions).
