Empty Patterns Puzzle

The Empty Patterns Puzzle has large and small circles along the edges of the pieces making this an “edge matching” puzzle.  The bigger challenge is to make symmetrical patterns somehow with the leftover holes which can include small circles, one large circle, a “rainbow” hole, etc.  There are 15 challenges engraved on the back to get you started, ranked easier to harder.  It is a good challenge for smaller kids just to get the pieces in the tray.  It rewards them more often than most puzzles offered on Puzzle Mist since this puzzle has over 2 million solutions, so easier to find one.  On the other hand, the toughest challenge on the back is as tough as any puzzle on the website.
