Mystifying Mushroom Plastic Keychain Puzzle with Solution Card

Six disks with varying shaped tabs need to be slid through the variously shaped notches in the mushroom stem.  The pieces need to be slid on in the correct order, slid up and down out of the way for the other pieces until you complete the mushroom shape.  Surprisingly tricky with at least one “aha” moment along the way, the puzzle allows for the bottom to be screwed off so you can easily remove the pieces and start over when necessary.  Unscrewing the bottom of the stem is NOT allowed when solving the puzzle!  The solution card is meant to be reminiscent of the typical vintage card that “keychain puzzles” were marketed on in the 1950’s and 60’s. William Waite won an award for the Mystifying Mushroom design at the 2026 International Nob Yoshigahara Puzzle Design Competition. This design is also available in the recommended larger version which is actually much easier to work with than this tiny version.
