The BalloonBoggler Puzzle

This puzzle has 10 different pieces which will fit into the tray in only one way.  The picture below shows one way that it won't work.

What makes this puzzle special and highly recommended is that the pieces can also be used for multiple challenges outside the tray.  The directions are to arrange any number of pieces (from 1 to 10) so that there are no concave outer edges.  For example, you could select five of the pieces and form this pattern:

Or you could select six of the pieces to form this pattern:

But the same six pieces don't necessarily form a concave pattern along the outer edge:

In this case there is a convex "bite" out of one of the pieces along the outer edge, so this is not a solution.  Try again, or pick six different pieces and see if they will work.  There are many groups of six pieces that will lead to a solution and there are many groups of six that will not lead to a solution.  Your task is to find as many solutions as you can for each number of pieces from 1 to 10.  The total number of solutions is unknown!
